Advertising and partnerships
Nenova may consider carefully selected advertising or partnerships that are relevant to readers and compatible with an editorial wellness publication. Commercial support does not buy editorial approval, a health outcome, or access to private reader information. This policy explains the boundary.
1. Labelling
Paid placements are labelled in plain language such as Advertisement, Sponsored, or Partner message. Labels are visible near the material and are not hidden in a terms page. Editorial articles remain distinguishable from commercial units.
2. Editorial independence
An advertiser cannot choose an independent article's conclusion, remove a limitation, or require a positive result. Editors retain the right to decline a claim or correct a page. Commercial and editorial teams should have separate approval paths.
3. Prohibited claims
We do not accept claims that promise guaranteed health results, present a product as a cure, create false scarcity, shame a body, exploit fear, or discourage professional care. We also reject claims that cannot be responsibly substantiated for the audience or jurisdiction.
4. Health products
Products connected to supplements, devices, clinics, or services receive additional scrutiny. A sponsor must provide relevant information and agree that Nenova can include appropriate limitations. Acceptance of a placement is not a medical endorsement or safety certification.
5. Audience data
We do not sell newsletter lists, individual health questions, contact messages, or profiles of medical interest. A partner receives only the reporting necessary to understand a placement, in aggregated form where practical. Privacy obligations continue after a campaign ends.
6. Targeting
We do not target people based on inferred diagnoses, treatment, disability, or sensitive health conditions. Any contextual placement is based on the page topic rather than a personal health profile. Optional technology must be disclosed under the cookies policy.
7. Review
Commercial creative is reviewed for accuracy, clarity, safety, and compliance with the agreed label. Review does not guarantee the advertiser's product or the future availability of a service. Readers should conduct their own checks before acting.
8. Affiliate links
If a link produces a commercial commission, that relationship will be disclosed near the link or in the relevant article. A commission does not change the editorial assessment. Where a conflict cannot be managed transparently, the link will not be used.
9. Complaints
Report a misleading advertisement, unclear label, or unsafe claim through contact.php. Include the page address, approximate date, and a screenshot only if it contains no unnecessary personal information. We aim to acknowledge a clear complaint within seven days.
10. Changes
This policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026. The previous version dated 1 April 2026 clarified the separation between advertising and health editorial. Changes will be dated and described so readers can understand the commercial framework.
11. Contact
Advertising enquiries should be sent to Nenova, Jl. Merdeka Raya No. 45, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Jakarta 10350, Indonesia, phone +62 21 5289 7416. Enquiries are assessed for fit; sending a proposal does not guarantee publication.
Commercial material may include a clearly labelled display unit, a sponsored article, an event notice, or a partner message. The format does not change the requirement for clear separation from independent editorial work. A label should remain understandable when a page is viewed on a small screen, printed, shared, or read with assistive technology.
Before accepting a placement, Nenova may ask for the identity of the advertiser, the destination URL, the jurisdiction in which the message will appear, substantiation for factual statements, and the intended audience. A review can be declined where the information is incomplete, the product category is unsuitable, the landing page is misleading, or the proposed wording conflicts with this policy.
Targeting and reporting should use the least information needed for the campaign. Aggregate counts may include impressions, clicks, broad placement, and reporting dates, while individual contact content and inferred health interests remain outside the commercial report. Campaign records are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last report, unless a longer period is needed for accounting, a complaint, or a legal request.
Partners must keep destination pages accurate during a campaign and notify Nenova of a material change to pricing, availability, claims, ownership, or privacy practices. Nenova may pause or remove a placement when a claim becomes unsupported, a destination changes, a reader raises a credible concern, or a legal or platform requirement changes. This is a review measure, not a statement about the merits of a product.
Readers can report a misleading label, broken destination, privacy concern, or inaccurate commercial statement to Nenova at Jl. Merdeka Raya No. 45, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Jakarta 10350, Indonesia, phone +62 21 5289 7416. We aim to acknowledge a report within five business days and provide an initial assessment within 15 business days; complex matters may require a further update within 30 days.
This policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026. Material changes will be dated and recorded, including changes to accepted categories, disclosure practices, targeting controls, or retention. The policy applies alongside the privacy, cookies, terms, disclaimer, and editorial pages.
This policy covers display placements, sponsored articles, partner messages, event notices, newsletter placements, and links commissioned or paid for by an external organisation. It does not turn independent articles into advertisements merely because a related topic appears nearby. Each commercial format should remain identifiable when read on a mobile screen, printed, shared, or navigated with assistive technology.
Before accepting a campaign, Nenova may review the advertiser identity, destination URL, ownership information, factual substantiation, intended audience, privacy notice, and any required local disclosures. A placement may be declined when its claims are unclear, its destination changes unexpectedly, its category is unsuitable for the publication, or the surrounding experience would mislead a reader about editorial independence.
Campaign data may include broad placement, delivery dates, aggregate impressions, clicks, and a reporting identifier. It should not include the contents of private correspondence or an inferred personal health category. Commercial reports are ordinarily retained for up to 24 months after the campaign ends, while invoices and accounting records may be held for the period required by applicable financial rules.
Advertising, hosting, email, analytics, and security providers may process limited technical data, sometimes outside Indonesia. Nenova expects appropriate contractual terms, access controls, retention limits, and support for deletion or correction requests. A reader who follows a destination link is also subject to that organisation's terms, privacy notice, cookies, and transfer practices.
Readers can report an unclear label, broken destination, inaccurate statement, or privacy concern to Nenova, Jl. Merdeka Raya No. 45, Gondangdia, Central Jakarta, Jakarta 10350, Indonesia, phone +62 21 5289 7416. We aim to acknowledge a report within five business days, make an initial assessment within 15 business days, and provide an update within 30 days when further review is needed.
This policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026. Material changes to accepted categories, disclosures, targeting, processors, or retention are recorded with a new date. The policy operates alongside the privacy, cookies, terms, disclaimer, and editorial pages.
Advertisers do not receive a reader's private message simply because a person saw or clicked a placement. Measurement is configured around campaign performance and broad delivery information, with access limited to the people who need it for reporting, invoicing, safety, or compliance. Nenova does not accept wording that creates a misleading impression about editorial independence or a reader's likely personal outcome.
Commercial complaints are logged with the date, placement, destination, evidence supplied, action taken, and closure date. These records are normally retained for up to 24 months after closure, while financial documents follow applicable accounting retention requirements. The policy was reviewed on 12 October 2026 and is revised when accepted categories, disclosure practice, or data handling changes.
